1400 La Concha, Houston
Come lift high the name of Jesus at the site where fans will gather for global soccer matches this summer! It’s known to Houstonians as NRG Stadium, but it will be called “Houston Stadium” when soccer fans from around the world descend upon Houston.
Gather at 1400 La Concha for this one-hour event as we cover the venue in prayer. All are welcome!

the cost or logistics of overseas travel. - The 500,000 fans coming to Houston to have an opportunity to hear the Gospel or
attend a church — perhaps for the first time. - Believers to share the Gospel with 50,000+ daily at the primary fan event (EaDo)
and at NRG (Houston) Stadium for the matches played there. Countries playing in
Houston (as of March 13):
- Cabo Verde

(1) Where does the event start?
Participants will gather outside the Main Office of the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center located at 1400 La Concha. You are welcome to begin your prayer walk as you feel led, including from wherever you park your car.
(2) Where can I park?
We recommend street parking around 1400 La Concha, or Texas Women’s Hospital parking garage ($10/hour) on Greenbriar Dr.
(3) Can I park at NRG Stadium and meet participants there?
No. Since NRG Park (including NRG Stadium) is operated by Harris County, the parking lots will not be open for vehicles on that day.
(4) Will I be expected to pray out loud or with others?
You can pray however you feel led! You can pray to yourself, or you can pray out loud — all on your own, with friends you bring, or with people you meet.
(5) Where will we be walking?
From our starting point, we will walk down N. Stadium Drive to NRG Stadium — about 0.6 miles over sidewalks and parking lots. From there, participants can pray while walking around NRG Stadium (about 0.7 mile loop) as much as they wish, or remain in place and pray.
(6) Is the path accessible?
While the official grounds around NRG Stadium may be accessible, the path to get there might present challenges for people using mobility devices. We will cross over sidewalks, curbs, and parking lots along the way.
(7) Are strollers or wagons permitted?
Yes! You are welcome to bring strollers or wagons for your young children.
(8) Are pets permitted?
No, we ask that pets be left at home. Official service animals are welcome to attend as needed.
